This mango smoothie bowl recipe is not just super delicious, it’s the perfect post-workout dish. This very thick smoothie is filled with healthy goodness. You get all the fibre from the fruits you’d usually miss in a juice. However, when it comes to fruit, mango is really the best!
For the smoothie mix
- 1 x 400g pot of Nature’s Finest mango
- 1 x banana, peeled and sliced
- Lime juice
For the toppings
- Peeled and diced kiwi
- Pomegranate seeds
- Coconut flakes
- Chia seeds
- Drain the mango, retaining the juice. Place the mango and banana in a blender. Blitz until smooth, adding as much mango liquid as you need to achieve a silky smoothie-like consistency. Taste, and add a squeeze of lime or a spoonful of honey to taste, to add sharpness or sweetness as needed.
- Divide between two bowls (at this stage, you can place one portion in a sealed container in the fridge and save it for the next day if you wish). Top with your choice of toppings and serve.
