If there’s anything the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has taught us, it’s the importance of looking after our health, inside and out. And with an increasing number of us becoming more interested in nutrition, exercise and supplements, Lifeplan wants to help you and your loved ones keep on top of your health with the right scientific evidence-based information to help you make the right choices.

Knowing how difficult it can be to navigate your way through the world of supplements and nutrition, Lifeplan is taking a proactive approach to help you understand more about vitamins and minerals through its campaign, #BeVitWise.

There are so many different supplements on the market today, but it’s not always easy to know exactly what you need to take. So, if you’re left wondering, ‘Which supplement will work best for me?’ or ‘Do I even need to take a supplement?’ then you’re certainly not alone! Perhaps you’re even asking yourself whether a simple diet change could make a difference instead of taking a supplement, or whether you’re taking too many supplements or the wrong ones entirely. That’s where Lifeplan can help.

Know your nutrients

As part of its #BeVitWise campaign, the Lifeplan team will be sharing blogs and tips to provide you with evidence-based information, not just about supplements but how to obtain a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle, too.

Helping with this ongoing effort is Lifeplan’s in-house nutritionist, Deepali Shah Katira: “With such easy access to various social media platforms now, there is a lot of misinformation out there, and you could be taking supplements that you might not need,” Deepali says.

“We want to give you the information to be able to make informed decisions about your diet, lifestyle and the supplements you purchase.

“For example, it can be quite overwhelming to simply pick a vitamin D supplement, so we want to make it easier for you to pick the one that is suitable for you and absorbs well, while giving you the right dosage. It also all comes down to having a holistic approach to live a healthy and happy life.”
