Because healthy comes in all shapes and sizes

Sportswear giant, Nike hit the headlines this week for the first plus size mannequin to appear in its flagship store in London. The sportswear brand first debuted a plus-size range in 2017, which offers customers sizes up to 3X. Some people agree that this is an inclusive step to body neutrality, while others have accused the brand for ‘normalising obesity’.

A survey conducted by found that 83% of people believe more sportswear brands should follow the example set by Nike and include plus-size mannequins in their advertising and 80% do not believe plus-size mannequins glorify obesity.

Being able to write about everything that's important to me (exercising for mental wellbeing and delicious food, of course) to help people meet their health goals is pretty special. Before emails, I'm usually in the front-room with a dumbbell and on weekends, there's nothing better than the Kent countryside for a leisurely stroll.
