When I heard that Ricari Studios, the cult-favourite wellness brand adored by LA’s A-list, had finally arrived in the UK, I could not book fast enough. Known for their high-tech treatments that promise sculpting, detoxifying, and glowing results; and with a client list that includes Ashley Graham, Rita Ora, Eiza Gonzalez; Ricari Studios has long been a go-to for Hollywood insiders. Now, for the first time, it is available in the UK, exclusively at The Peninsula London. As someone who has always been curious about celebrity-loved beauty rituals, I was eager to see what all the hype was about – without the transatlantic flight.

Pulling up to The Peninsula London, I already knew that I was in for something special; the hotel is grand and beautiful – the perfect setting for a glamorous spa treatment. I was booked in for the Ricari Studios Signature Treatment that treats both the face and body, blending high-tech tools with hands-on precision. Anna Zahn, Ricari Studios’ founder calls this their ‘tech meets touch’ philosophy, which makes the best of both worlds for optimal results.

My treatment began with a consultation with my therapist, Isabelle. She asked what areas of my body I wanted to focus on or if I had any specific needs, so I told her that I would like to focus on a little of everything, especially since it was my first time trying the Signature Treatment. I was then handed a sleek bodysuit to put on and using a specialised machine, Isabelle performed a rhythmic, vacuum-like massage across my body, designed to stimulate lymphatic flow, improve circulation, and reduce water retention. Throughout this, I was able to dictate what pressure was best for me. It was firm at first but never uncomfortable, and after a few minutes, I was beginning to feel very sleepy.
Next, I was zipped into inflatable compression trousers that applied a gentle, wave-like pressure from my feet to my lower stomach. The air pressure worked to stimulate my lymphatic system, promoting detoxification and improving circulation. It felt so gentle and relaxing, I would have gladly worn them for the rest of the day.
While my legs were being worked on, Isabelle prepped my face, using lush skincare products by Margy’s, for the same vacuum-like massage that I had on my body but with a smaller device. Again, it was a lovely sensation, ticklish at first, but then very soothing. Isabelle was fantastic, explaining all the different stages of the treatment as we went along and by the end, I felt lighter, less puffy, and peaceful. Following my treatment, I went to rest and reflect in the spa’s relaxation room with a cup of tea and some snacks.

While the Ricari Studios Signature Treatment does not promise an overnight transformation, the subtle toning and a general feeling of rejuvenation were noticeable straightaway – my skin felt more toned and my face looked tighter – I also slept incredibly well that night. It is great for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a high-tech, non-invasive treatment that leaves you feeling polished and pampered. Ricari Studios has brought something fresh to London’s wellness scene, and The Peninsula London is the perfect home for it.
